Carson Kressley is an Emmy Award–winning TV personality, style expert, fashion designer, interior designer, and New York Times best-selling author. A multi-talented and unforgettable presence, Carson has built an extraordinary career at the intersection of fashion, entertainment, and philanthropy.

Carson began his career as an independent stylist, quickly becoming an invaluable asset to top designers, including Ralph Lauren. He gained international fame as the breakout star of Bravo’s Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, which won a Primetime Emmy and introduced his signature wit and expertise to audiences worldwide. His collaborations with Oprah Winfrey helped transform America’s sense of personal style, and he went on to host multiple television series, including Lifetime’s How to Look Good Naked and ABC’s True Beauty. Carson has also served as a trusted fashion commentator on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America, and many other programs.

As a television personality, Carson has proven to be a fan favorite on numerous reality competitions, including NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice, Food Network’s Celebrity Cupcake Wars, ABC’s Celebrity Family Feud, and season 13 of Dancing with the Stars, where he raised both awareness and donations for multiple charities. He later reunited with his Queer Eye co-star, Thom Filicia, for the popular design series Get a Room with Carson & Thom.

Today, Carson continues to serve as a key judge on the groundbreaking series RuPaul’s Drag Race—the most awarded reality show in television history, with 71 nominations and 27 Emmy wins. He also appears on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars and recently earned an Emmy for his role as producer on the main show, with another nomination the following year.

Carson’s charisma and quick wit have also made him a beloved guest across television. He was voted “America’s Favorite Houseguest” on Celebrity Big Brother; has guest-hosted Live with Kelly and Ryan and co-hosted The Wendy Williams Show alongside Vivica A. Fox; and regularly appears as a fashion commentator on Live with Kelly and Mark, including their coverage of the Academy Awards. He’s a frequent guest on 25 Words or Less, Pictionary, and the new Hollywood Squares with Drew Barrymore. Beyond his television success, Carson is a passionate philanthropist and world-class equestrian. He is a World Champion American Saddlebred rider and a regular participant in the annual New Year’s Rose Parade, riding for Scripps Miramar. He is deeply involved with the American Humane Society and serves on the Board of Directors for Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colors United,” supporting homeless LGBTQ+ youth.
